Good morning! Just letting everyone know that I am running a sale right now before the Christmas rush hits. I need to get some money for kids' school clothes :) Discount is 15% off all items. Stop by my Etsy shop and check it out. I have various jewelry items and other beaded gifts such as book thongs, lanyards, cell phone charms. If you don't see something you want, please contact me. This sale will also apply to custom orders. All you need to do is put 15%sale in notes to seller during checkout and I will refund your discount back to you through Paypal. I have a few ideas, but it's hard to follow through on anything when I'm so stressed about my "day job". I'm not very creative when I'm stressed-out!

I can sew (a little bit), and also enjoy doing elaborate hand-embroidery. (I'm a holdover from the '60s and '70s!) Lately I've become interested in maybe turning plain, scuffed-up, smaller pieces of old furniture into unique, hand-painted works of art.

I've got a few other ideas bouncing around in my head, as well. I think that if I could get one or two projects started, then I'd start looking forward to "NJA's", rather than dreading them.

I can spend all day on Etsy looking around. LOL I love looking at what other people have made. There are some amazing artists there. If you start creating and make an Etsy shop, please let me know and I will \"favorite\" you. I envy anyone that can paint.

Looking at holding a garage sale, but have no idea what to price our stuff for. Does anyone have suggestions. All of our stuff is old. Things like old wood tables (from the 1960s/70s), old furniture, really old TVs that still work, but are about 15 years old, so part of the picture is fading away, books, dishes, clothes, etc. An oak bed (queen) about 15 years old, dressers from the 50s and 60s, etc. How do you decide how to price things?
