If you must blame someone - Lots of factors

Posted: May 12th, 2022 - 11:26 am In Reply to: Thank a Democratic voter for this mess and recession - and inflation. When you pick up

I guess you can blame the voters, but it wasn’t entirely their fault. They didn’t cause the pandemic and neither did Biden. I still don’t understand the supply shortages and think that was artificially manipulated by the big corporations. There were economic factors causing this inflation; low interest rates and the availability of cheap loans, lots of consumer spending and stimulus funds being dumped into the economy coupled with a slowdown in productivity. I voted democratic but the voters are not responsible for all of that. If I had to do it again I don’t know that I would do vote the same way, and who is to say if things would have been different with a Republican administration. The economy has ups and downs and it always will, and I remember other times when we had high inflation and people struggled to make ends meet. We are still free to vote as we choose, whether or not you approve.
