I’ve never grown tomatoes indoors but have quite a few orchids and African Violets that I have to supplement with artificial light due to shorter days and less sunshine. For your tomatoes, I would recommend putting your lights on a timer because you want to simulate outdoor conditions as close as you can, and they need a period of darkness as well as light, just as if you were growing outdoors; also, your day and night temperatures should fluctuate by at least 10 degrees. It sounds as if you have your lights figured out, I wish you could upload some pictures so we could see your setup. You could also try contacting your county extension office, sometimes they have master gardeners available to answer questions. One of our local stores has an entire section dedicated to indoor growing, it’s fun to look at all the gadgets. Good luck, be sure and keep us posted.
