I like Shelby Foote as well, I think he’s been in some of Ken Burns films. I saw the film on Vietnam, I guess I wasn’t analytical enough to pick up on the betrayal angle, but that is what we did. There was one on the Mayo Clinic and films on both World Wars. I suppose they all were flawed but I enjoyed watching them anyway. Another filmmaker who’s big on revisionist history is Oliver Stone, that guy is over the top but I have seen many of his movies.
