consumed way too much alcohol and was never coherent enough to remember any information told to him. It’s not an insult over the guy...it’s just the way he was.

I’m sorry if I’m stepping on toes, but I think Hemingway is one of the most overrated authors of the 20th Century. I’ve tried reading his stuff, and it’s just dull and uninspiring.

I was never able to get more than two chapters into anything he wrote.
