Windows 10 and Printer Issue

This isn't really a post for the gab board but I put it on here because it isn't really a post for the tech board either because it is not work related. But, does anybody out there have Windows 10 and are finding that their printer isn't functioning properly? I just got a new computer a few months ago with Windows 10 on it and have now learned that my printer's color option is not showing up in the printer app options on my computer. It only shows the black and white options (best, draft, etc). I have spent hours doing research to try and fix it and nothing is working. Microsoft remote signed into my computer last night and did a full update and still no color option for the HP app. HP will not even talk to me as the printer is over 1 year old and want to make me pay for tech support. I am almost certain it's a driver issue but any driver's that are suggested by MS are not available on my computer. Updating the HP driver for my model doesn't work either. I am not very computer saavy. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
