Once again, the media reports are horribly exaggerated and blown out of proportion. Here are the numbers, so think for yourself --
21.48 million - population of Florida
282,000 - total cases in Florida
4277 - total deaths in Florida
2.6 million - total COVID tests administered in Florida

Cases and Deaths ARE NOT the same thing. Florida has vastly expanded testing sites as of the last few weeks and more people are being tested, so more testing equals obviously more cases. Our local hospitals are not seeing an uptick in admissions for COVID. The poster above is correct, hospital admissions have not dramatically risen, they have actually gone down. Take the numbers above, do the math, see the results for yourselves. The sky is not falling down in Florida... The media thrives on instilling fear and not reporting the true facts.
