and knew the woman was wheel-chair bound, so it's beyond me why the perp only got a 12-month sentence. The circumstances of the crime sounded a bit suspicious to me though, about her taking time out in the middle of a rape to use the bathroom and calling police then going back to be "raped" some more!!! Does that strike anyone else as odd? I am in no way excusing this man for assaulting this woman a second time, which was completely wrong; but I have a feeling that the original incident may have not been really a rape and the perp was really po'd. Not right, but it happens.
