I find this story hard to believe...sm - Anon

There has got to be more to it than blaming a "sanctuary city." I thought SCs were meant to shield law-abiding illegal aliens, not convicted felons??? Once this guy's jail time was coming to an end, someone should have notified ICE to come get him as he walked out of the jail and maybe they did. I have to agree that his jail time was pretty short though. Maybe ICE was notified and dragged their feet getting there to pick him up and missed him. You never know if the city followed the right procedure and something went awfully wrong and ICE never showed up. I'd like to know the rest of the story before passing judgment.
