who Has Michelle and Barack Obama listed as Honorary Members for their contributions to the practice of law in Illinois. I'm afraid this wouldn't be possible if they "lost" their licenses for some sort of wrongdoing. Here's the quote from the ISBA website:

The ISBA is proud to have as Honorary Members: President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, and author Harper Lee, whose depiction of Atticus Finch in "To Kill A Mockingbird" stands as an unparalleled example of legal integrity.

I think the assertion that they lost their licenses is a lot of hooey that was started to smear their names.
