Your link is not to the "real story". They did not suspend their license because they weren't going to be practicing law. THAT'S the urban legend. The guy who wrote the article is David Emery. "Noted chronicler of folklore". Writer for Snopes. Here's the problem. First Snopes is not a reliable site for facts. Unless you are a liberal, then that's the go to site because that's who they favor. People need to read who is behind Snopes. Second, this is not a folklore story.
The Obama's did surrender their licenses, but not because they were not going to be practicing law. Don't fall for someone's opinion, get the facts from the records on file.
