I have no idea who this person is that posted the original comments, but this is totally untrue. First, she is not an employer. Those who work with CLK Transcription are independent contractors. There is a difference! She has set rules that she wants the contractors to follow and those things are spelled out. Just like right now I am having a new shower put in -- I expect the contractor to follow my wishes! I have taken on work from here for a number of years now. CarolLee has NEVER not paid me for the work I did for her company, and I have always been paid on time! That is more than I can say about many other places where i have done independent contracting work! All of the other folks who transcribe have been tremendously helpful too! I really don't understand this, Sharon whoever you are. I suspect you just might not have the chops to make it with a company that expects quality work.
