Gab Board

No, not really. Most of us had no idea what they had - planned, where this was going to go. SM

Don't put the blame on us for what they did. Their greed started the whole thing and drove all of us into disaster. We were led to believe AAMT was for us and would help us out when the whole time they were plotting to line their own pockets, especially Jay Vance the whole time playing both sides of the fence with pretending to be all for the American MTs but still playing up his part in AAMT to look out for himself first and shove anyone else over the edge who didnt ride that crazy train. Why do you think he diversified off into so many other things, he knew where this was going and was covering his own job security.

How were we to know the giant cluster blank of epic proportions that voice wreck would turn out to be. We had no reason to really think otherwise when we were told how great this was going to be and how much faster we could make so much more money. Remember how it started out with the really easy to understand doctors? Any objections anyone voiced was shot down quickly with excuses and reasons why this was such a wonderful thing. It was a good idea in theory at the start, until everyone saw where it was going and by then that train was rolling down the mountain on a 10% grade with no way to stop it.

I worked at a big clinic system when voice wreck first came out. I remember our manager really pushing it hard, and there was even a small scandal at the facility when she was found to be falsifying records in order to promote VR for the clinic to buy it and start all the other facilities in the area on it as well. One local MTSO in that area who is still in business today and posts to hire on here every once in a while, was in on it with her. One of the department supervisors was roped into it while she was only an MT and was chosen to train the system, then later moved into a supervisory role and threatened with losing her job if she didn't jump on board the voice wreck train. She was a pawn right from the start but nothing she could do about it if she wanted to keep her job. That all came out in the wash much later but by then the damage was done. Years later yet another supervisor said she was also roped into it but could never say anything about it, she was still under a confidentiality contract about the whole thing. I still remember all this 20 some years later. Any of the MTs who whispered about it among ourselves there were quickly shut up with subtle threats of losing our jobs.

NO. Dont blame us. Blame the liars and thieves who lied to us, telling us how much more money we'd make with voice wreck, and that whole thing was a disaster from the start.
