the ones that are have been hurting businesses and consumers. The new ones would be even more devastating. Yes, he's saying they are still negotiating but I believe we will get the same results as his previous negotiations and that is more tariffs.


It's not "just another I hate Trump position" as you state. It comes from seeing his negotiating skills in action and understanding the countries he is trying to negotiate with. NK ring a bell? Previous tariff negotiations with China did not work out either, thus why the previous tariffs went in place.

If the tariffs that are currently being discussed do come about, we will suffer even more. This article talks about effects of currently discussed tariffs. Should his negotiating skills not get us out of this, these are some of the things that will happen. There is a clickable link in the article for 194-page list of items that would be affected. It also has estimated costs of how much more consumers would be paying each year.

I have no faith in his negotiating skills and you apparently do, so I guess time will tell. This is a time where I hope I am wrong but his history tells me I am not. So, I guess we'll wait and see, right?
