has lived in perpetual prosperity, but they have been indoctrinated and brainwashed since pre-school with leftist ideals and falsehoods. It is very hard to see the light after so much wool has been forced over your eyes.

Emotions are not a tool of cognition. But they have replaced cognition for far too many people. This is because emotions are our near-instantaneous responses to concepts - such as “inequality”, “capitalism”, “socialism” etc. Their near-instantaneous nature gives them a “primary, therefore true” feel, for those who are on a nihilist, subjectivist premise about reality.
