The media nor Congress are misleading anybody. His staff saved him from himself. It would have been political suicide for him if he fired Mueller so they kept him from pulling the trigger. Nobody said it was unconstitutional for him to do it but with all the other instances of trying to obstruct justice, that one would have been a disaster for him.
