hard truths such as the higher taxes, less provider choice, and increased wait times the approval for this drops 50%.

It's not really free stuff. The root of this problem was when medical “insurance” became part of employment in WW2 due to wage controls imposed by the feds. Any move towards further federalization of healthcare would be a disaster. Providers would face big cuts; that always happens with government programs. Right now, most independent providers don’t take Medicaid and many don’t take 0-care.

Many hospitals and providers would stop accepting government plans forcing patients into overcrowded hospitals and clinics that would ration care. If providers are forced to take government plans as a requirement to practice medicine or run a hospital, many would quit/go OOB.

Tack on the illegals getting "free stuff"
