I am sorry this happened to you. I know in recent years, they've become a little more aggressive in making sure they get pictures that are a big above the breast, and it's a little uncomfortable, but I've never heard of anything so bad as yours. It's also expected to hurt when your estrogen levels are high at certain times of the month, but should not be as bad as what happened to you.
