Recovery was very quick and easy - IT user

Posted: Dec 29th, 2018 - 9:07 pm In Reply to: Cataract surgery - FF

Initially my night vision was great.
However, as with any surgery, there are risks of side effects. There is increased chance that the vitreous will start to contract, that you will have increased floaters, and so on. This happened to me several months after the initial surgery. Would it have happened that soon anyway? Who knows?! I also needed YAG capsulotomy procedures on both eyes. After all that, my vision is not quite as good as it was immediately after the initial surgery. If your doctor believes you absolutely need the surgery now, then go for it, but if it can wait then put it off as long as you can. There are improved lenses all the time.
