The definition of sedition is an illegal action inciting resistance to lawful authority and tending to cause the disruption or overthrow of the government. A protest march is not necessarily violent and can be peaceful. If a group acquires the proper permits from the city/town and remains peaceful, it is perfectly okay. Leftist activism does not necessarily include violence. Where are you coming up with this stuff? Pubs also have a right to protest, as long as it is done legally and peacefully. There's no sedition involved in these situation.
