Don't forget those "brown people fears" are supposedly coming from swing state voters that elected Obama twice.

The more likely explanation is there were "immigration fears" of not enough jobs and resources to take care of all the illegals the Dems were rolling out the welcome mat to.

Of course, that relevant issue (how much immigration is sustainable?) got swept into the media's all-encompassing "Trump/Republicans are all racist" narrative.
