I used to get swimmer's ear as a kid...soooo painful. Pediatrician suggested hydrogen peroxide and never using a Q-tip to dry. She always said to use a blow dryer on low and rather far away to dry the ears. I always used the under-chin headphones (the ones from Lanier) supplied by MModal with the foam pads and never had a problem.
