I disagree with your last sentence (When the government causes a major problem and then pushes the costs off onto a few individuals and companies, it somehow seems fitting that if this bankrupts the individuals the costs should come back to bite the government) but think maybe our government needs to do a little more research on Europe's tanks.

I have seen many times where we do things here and other countries do it a better way yet our government is to high and mighty to think that another country may do things better.
