when a catastrophe hits them. I hear people calling poor people deadbeats a lot, but the ones who choose not to pay forinsurance because they are so scared it will help someone poor, they're a big part of the problem. Nobody can afford a few weeks in ICU. It would be fitting if those who are that selfish had to sign something saying they wouldn't take the medical care if they can afford insurance but won't buy it. I would rather help people who are actually incapable of affording insurance, not people who think being in the risk pool means they are being bled dry by needy families.
