and immediately got a 50% discount. The scary part is this was actually less than I would have paid for the health insurance in a year.

My point is there are other ways to pay for health care.

Insurance was started and meant to cover things that would devastate people financially.

Health Savings Plans are another option. A combination of all these things would bring peace of mind I guess.
