First, your $16/mo assumes that she's in a single-earner household.
Second, you assume that she's making the low-end of MT wages.
Third, you assume the tax cut paid entirely for her new car. In reality, it may have only been enough to put her over the top and allow her to make payments on a new car.
The same goes for your assumptions about the flooring.
It really says something that you can't be happy for someone else. Instead you feel the need to resort to essentially calling them liars.
You have my sympathy.
