The French Revolutions was horrific as well. It lasted over 10-1/2 years!

Check out these dates:
5 May 1789 – 9 November 1799
5 5 9 - 9 11 9

55 is a multiple of 11 so we reduce it down (11 is a "special" number so gets "special" treatment).

11 9 - 9 11 9

So there are *3* different 09/11s here. (The second/right 11 is sandwiched between two 9s so is used twice, once with the first 9 and once with the second 9.)

They LOVE reversed characters (numbers and letters).
