We had free HBO over the weekend, and I taped the show, Warning: This drug will kill you. While I respect your opinion, and try to respect everyone's opinion, truly, unless you walk in the shoe's, you don't know. I hope and pray to never walk in the shoes. When our sons were in high school, a lady I knew hosted the senior party (they were not yet seniors and did not attend, and let's not judge this woman, she learned). She did not have that intention, but the man that owned the field the kids went to ran them off, and then she said okay. She took car keys and took everyone home. One girl decided to drive back into town, ran off the road and flipped her car. Thankfully, she was alive, but she was started on painkillers. That led to heroin. Her story is one you can find on Facebook, My Addiction to Addiction, that is posted by her mother. They want to help people understand, and help others. You don't know what you haven't been told. I hope to not ever know the heartbreak of losing a child to heroin. They say it takes a village. Just try to listen and understand.
