We taught our kids that the constitution is there to limit - government. We do not have a limited

gov now. We have politicians who promise freebies to get votes.

You have to work at least until May to pay all the taxes and redistribution programs now, and that is BEFORE taxes on food, gas, property, etc. This is not how the country was founded. When we explained to our kids what kind of taxes they will be paying in order to pay for all the freebies now proposed, my kids finally "got it"
