I know about 12 of them who function very very well in the working world. Every time I see an exceptional individual I find out they were home schooled. Their parents and family teach them love and compassion, how to handle difficult people, how to stay out of fights, but if they do find themselves in that situation how to stand up for themselves. Some families were involved in church, others not. After school programs is where a lot of them learn valuable lessons, certainly not any school. In fact every time you turn around there is a story about a school bully who beats up and makes fun of kids. Unfortunately sometimes that leads to the student taking their own life. Home schooled kids learn respect for others. They don't bully and their parents monitor their social activity. And they certainly don't go on FB encouraging kids to kill themselves. They learn that stuff in school where the bully mentality is. And sorry, but kids don't learn about other cultures in school. They stick together and bully others.
