It IS the entire education system. There may be a few small areas that are okay, but for the most part its the entire education system.
Most parents ARE qualified to home school their kids. Take a look at the qualifications for home schooling. My sister homeschooled my nephew. She had no college degree, but she is a very intelligent individual. She received a curriculum she had to follow. He learned everything he needed to know. He passed with honors and went on to college. He is now living a wonderful productive life with a great job AND more common sense and better education than a lot of people who attended universities. He was exposed to every idea there is and followed what was going on in our country. Luckily he had my sister and her husband to answer the important questions. In fact 6 of my other friends also home school their children, some still do and others have gone on to either college or got jobs. And none of them are not narrow minded. In fact it is the university students and millenials who are the narrow minded ones, hiding in their "safe spaces", yelling obscenities at instructors and people who don't agree with them. I'm sorry to hear that being a productive and intelligent person makes you cringe.
