Respecting the POTUS - Peppermint Patti

Posted: Mar 12th, 2018 - 2:37 pm

Where is the respect?  When President Trump is continually called Trump - we can see how disrespectful people in general are.  Anyone who is a country's leader deserves, at the very least, respectfulness.  I am almost 68 years old and have watched in amazement how disrespectful people are.  Everyone seems to have an issue - whether it is race, nationality, religion - but isn't it all about ME-ISM?  If we all followed the Golden Rule and treat others the way we ourselves would want to be treated, would there be this hatred and so-called prejudices?  Is "gun control" going to change anything?  Doesn't "people control" make more sense? Years ago, kids were plopped in front of a TV as a babysitter.  Now we have TV that has over the years become violent, immoral, and even satanic.  We are what we eat and we also become what we take in as "entertainment."  When you see a family "together" in a restaurant and all family members are texting and watching their cell phones.  Isn't this disrespectful to our own family members?

The Bible spoke about the last days and that men would be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God..... Written a long time ago but certainly describes people of today.  When has a human being been called fierce?  The word is used to describe wild animals.  The politicians are using the description of the mass shootings as "pure evil."  That is in agreement with the critical times hard to deal with....and human beings becoming "fierce."

The guns are not the problem.  The people and what they are feeding themselves with are the problem.  Hate, envy, violence, ME-ISM, no respect for fellow human beings and no respect for the POTUS!!!
