A community of 30,000 US Transcriptionist serving Medical Transcription Industry
1. No organization of any kind other than a political party may contribute money or other valuable consideration to any political candidate. This includes unions, businesses, religious organizations, nonprofits, etc. No individual may contribute more than $1000 to any candidate.
2. To limit the amount of money needed by candidates, radio and TV broadcasters, who make a bloody fortune by exploiting a national resource (the nation's airwaves), cannot charge for political messages. They would be required to air a given number of messages spread equally among the candidates. The FCC or another body would determine the rules.
3. There would be one national primary election day, just as there is one national general election day. Alternatively, there could be two primary election days. Participation in the second election would be limited to the top three candidates from the first election. Primaries would not be spread out over weeks and months, with voters in the later primaries being deprived of being able to vote for their candidate due to attrition.
4. There would be no "secret" or "super" delegates to any party's convention. Delegates would be apportioned strictly according to the votes of the electorate in the primary election. Period!
5. The electoral college would be eliminated. The reason for its existence disappeared long ago.
6. Presidential candidates must provide access to financial and tax records for at least 10 years, to their educational records including college and graduate school, must disclose any financial aid received and/or special considerations given, declarations of status made for the purpose of obtaining aid or special admission consideration, a complete health record including a recent comprehensive physical examination, and of course any involvement with the criminal justice system in any capacity.
