President-Elect Trump NOT pursuing charges

Posted: Nov 22, 2016

Just heard on teh news, not purusing charges against Hillary, "Let her heal."  HMMMMM.

not him. Trump is going to have to learn where his jurisdiction extends and ends. If she was peddling influence, then that is of national concern, and far beyond him.

She's already suffering - with the knowledge

[ In Reply To ..]
that America did not and does not want her as POTUS. It couldn't be more clear. Too many scandals, too many lies, too much deceit, too many skeletons. Buh-bye.

Winning the electorate is what counts, not popular vote.

President Elect Trump won both the popular and electoral.

Lying, cheating and stealing cannot be counted - sm

They keep posting that she won the popular vote. Well maybe according to the Clinton News Networks and her worshipers, but you can't count the 60K felons votes (which is illegal), and you can't count the illegals votes, and you can't count the double votes, and you can't count the dead people's votes, the cartoon characters and pet's votes and you can't count the machine votes when people voted for Trump and saw their vote switched to the swamp creature. So, in fact she did not win the popular vote. Take away around 2 million (or more) votes they claim she got and no, she did not win the popular vote.

Not too disappointing - He has bigger fish to fry

[ In Reply To ..]
That would've bogged down his first year in office, if not longer. I didn't vote for either of them, but I am wishing him all the best. I hope he can do half what he said.

I am totally shaken - Then he ISN'T crazy??

[ In Reply To ..]
I thought Trump was a crazy megalomaniac who would ignore the country's needs and pursue his own loony personal agenda. What was with all the craziness in his campaign?? Could it be that he's not a bizarre self-important twit?? Hard to believe, but in choosing not to pursue prosecuting Clinton for what other secretaries of State had done routinely, he's actually acting like a leader. What's up??

How funny - nana7

[ In Reply To ..]
You do realize that he lied to everyone during his campaign right? All we heard consistently was "put her in jail", blah, blah, blah. He lied, he lied, he lied and now you are making excused for him. That just cracks me up. I have listened for the last 4 years how Obama lied about being able to keep your own doctor and how everyone wanted to crucify him but Trump lies to win the election and you are fine with it. Really. He led you by the nose ring and now that you got him in office under his lies now he is going to drop you on your head and serve up his own agenda.

He cried for the black vote, even came to Michigan in Detroit and met with a black church, got black people to vote for him and then what did he do, named a racist as part of his cabinet. And you are okay with this? Bring on the excuses because in your eyes he must walk on water and sits at the right hand of God himself.

He lied about Ford's closing plants, putting people out of work in Kentucky and moving to Mexico. Another lie. Ford is not closing the plant in Kentucky. He is moving the car they build to Mexico with the intention of bringing another vehicle to their factory. So that was another one of Trump's lies just to get the auto workers upset, which he did and they voted against Clinton because of that. Auto workers notoriously vote democrat until now because of another lie. Now they are on the TV claiming they were duped.

You think he is going to do anything for you? Time will tell, but he has his own agenda and we the American people are not part of that agenda.

He wants to run America like one of his businesses. I do not work for him, on the contrary he works for the American people. I think we are going to be in a world of hurt with in office.

He said during the campaign that Clinton should remove herself from the Clinton Foundation because that would be a conflict of interest, yet he is not selling and signing off on his businesses, not even putting everything in a blind trust but he does not have a conflict of interest. Another lie. Wonder why his own home state did not vote for him, why did he lose New York?

Clinton, well she lost the election for herself. She way underestimated Trump and thought she was shoe-in. It didn't help what the FBI did the week before the election either but that's our politics in this country.

It has been nothing but lies, lies, lies, yet he is supposed to bring change. Not so far in my eyes. He fits right into Washington. Lets see if he will help you keep your jobs or help you get paid what you deserve. If I were you I wouldn't hold your breath.

I agree we need change but I am not sure we are going to like the change that may be coming out way. He has a lot to prove to the American people but so far I do not like what I see.

exactly... - LMT

I agree with everything you said in your post. He has done the exact opposite of what he said he was going to do...like all politicians. He said he was going to bring charges against Clinton...well now he is backtracking on that. I knew he was lying every time he opened his mouth. And he is not supposed to have a business and yet..he said he won't quit running his business. Yep...looks like all the trumpettes were duped for sure.

The next 4 years will definitely be interesting.
He can't bring charges against Clinton. He doesn't have the power - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
I would think people would have realized that but then, again, people have been brainwashed into believing that the President is a God and can do anything they want, especially during the past 8 years.

He said - R2

[ In Reply To ..]
He said he was not pursing charges, but didn't say he was going to appoint someone to do it or encourage the prosecutor to...... So time will tell.
yea...backtracking... - LMT
[ In Reply To ..]
Per Washington Post...

"Hours later, Trump himself said that he was no longer committed to prosecuting Clinton, telling editors and reporters at the New York Times that he doesn’t “want to hurt the Clintons, I really don’t. She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways.”

so yea...typical politician...says what people want to hear to get the vote, then when elected...backtracks.

Hillary has been lying and coniving all her life, yet people don't think - Truthhurts

[ In Reply To ..]
there's anything wrong with that.

Give it up. When he campaigned he had wasn't sure what hecould and couldn't do. Now that he's been having all these meetings to get his transistion team together, I would imagine they are telling him what he can't do.

Meanwhile, the investigations are still going on into the Clintons. It's just that Trump can't do anything about it, so he'll let the FBI take care of it.
All politicians LIE... - LMT
[ In Reply To ..]
been like that since the beginning of this destructive government. no matter what side...they all LIE and trump is no better and proving it daily.

Oh yea...the FBI...they will do a great job...~sarcasm~
All politicians may lie, but one segment of the population - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
don't see the lies on their side. They only see the lies from the opposite side.
yeah your side. - nana7

I hear you making excuses for Trump, nothing more. He didn't know what he could or couldn't do. And that is who you want running our country, someone who does not know what they can and can't do. That is scary all in itself.

Every politician promises the moon and delivers nothing so they all lie. We should have a 1 year return policy on our vote. They don't come through with their promises you can change your vote and throw them out.
I love that idea - LMT

a 1 -year return policy...

That is an awesome idea!!
1-year return policy? Obummer would have been out 7 years ago - I agree with Truthhurts

Like all non-politicians, including everyone on this board and on all commetary sites, no one knows what the laws are and what a president can and can't do.

I looked at both candidates plus the "off-party" candidates. I weighed the pros and cons of all. What made my mind up was the VP. Pence was more level-headed, knows how government works, he's very likeable and a lot of his constiuents like him because he supposedly did agood job for his stateand finally, if anything would happen to Trump, he's the man that would be taking over.

Kaine seemed quite in bed with Obama and Hillary's agenda for free trade, with open borders and amnesty for illegals, and also seemed a wee bit unstable when speaking at campaign stops if someone asked a question he didn't like. Reminded me a bit like that nitwit Howard Dean. We don't need more instability in the White House.

Didn't like Johnson because he's also an open borders person who feels anyone who wants to come to this country should be allowed in, doesn't know a thing about the Iraq/Syria/Iran problems we're having and probably smokes too much pot (just joking) because he's a pot farmer and wants ALL drugs legalized, even heroin and cocaine.

Then there's Jill, the criminal. Do we want another one? She's been arrested 3 times that is known and the last time should absolutely be a felony for the vandalism she caused to construction equipment. She such an environmentalist, putting her in charge would have meant no fossil fuels (before we're ready for full solar/wind energy). She's against capitalism, hates corporations, against the police, for Obama-type stimulus plans, against the wealthy and would take their money away (sound like Communism to me), and supports BLM. That's only a few turnoffs for me. Oh, but my favorite ones were calling the war on drugs racist, hates charter schools and any other form of education except government sources, she supports the Iran deal and she wants everyone on Medicare. IOW, she's looney tunes.
FBI can't do anything either if nothing was illegal - Nana7
[ In Reply To ..]
He wasn't sure what he could and couldn't do. Really. He supposedly had a great campaign team together who I am sure knew what he could and couldn't do as president including Newt Gingrich, who after Trump won walked away from Trump. Newt is considered one of the great brains of Washington but he didn't tell "The Donald" he couldn't prosecute her. As far as the FBI they haven't found anything yet and probably never will regardless of the reason.

No one is defending Clinton, voting this election was the worst I have ever seen it. Neither candidate was anything to go ape over but someone had to win so it came down to the lessor of 2 evils. Trump is such a bad liar it was obvious the entire campaign when he was lying yet people were duped into thinking he would make America great again. I certainly hope you don't choke on your words because he is going to have a rough road ahead when his own party was refusing to work with him or vote for him.

What crime? - H2o
[ In Reply To ..]
Name a crime Hillary has been indicted for? If you cannot produce facts, then it is not true.

On the other hand, Mr. Trump has been fined and fined, and fined over and over for illegal activities. That is a fact, i.e., Trump University fraud.

Name the crime? - FACT
[ In Reply To ..]
Yeah, just what people need...a dirt vacation.

There are facts but the leftists do not want to listen. The facts have been listed over and over and over. How many times do the facts have to be repeated?

Besides, what difference does it make, huh?

I agree. Cleaning up Obummer's messes will take a lot of focus. - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
I do not feel as if I've been lied to or duped. He clarified a lot of things during the campaign and made clear that making America great again was his #1 priority.

No man is an island. Being a successful person requires getting input from others. Trump has obviously done this his entire life and no doubt will continue to do it. With the time spent having meetings regarding cabinet picks and dealing with legalities on many fronts, I have every confidence that he will not let down the American people.

That's actually not true - I've heard...sm
