Romney, Obama in Tight Race as Gallup Daily Tracking Begins
Romney voters slightly more certain they will vote
by Frank NewportPRINCETON, NJ --

Mitt Romney is supported by 47% of national registered voters and Barack Obama by 45% in the inaugural Gallup Daily tracking results from April 11-15. Both Obama and Romney are supported by 90% of their respective partisans.

...as opposed to all the other polls showing - different results

including that Gallup tracking poll, which appears to conflict with the stale numbers you provided from the previous "inaugural" Gallup Daily Tracking poll.  The poll seems to be a bit skewed by notoriously right-leaning Rasmussen's +5 figure....the only sample that gave Romney any edge at all.  Even a poll of Fox viewers didn't produce that illusion.

almost all of these within margin of error - Not good for Oblablah

Yet even less promising for the one who commands - those lower numbers

which margins of error can even further reduce, especially in polls where only one survey, whose propensity to skew rightward is legendary, gives a +5 margin to the candidate that clearly lags behind in all the others. Also, margins of error rarely exceed +/- 4 percentage points and the ones that do are generally not considered all that reliable. Take heart. We are still more than 6 months out from E-day. There is plenty of time for Mittens to try his best to bring up his rear position.
If Obama so great - why such mnisculre lead and no double digits
[ In Reply To ..]
Cause the white house commie has a record of 3+ years that is disasterous. Romney is gonna clean his clock, and then clean out the White House.
Not until he is able to overcome Obama's "miniscule" lead - +6, +6, +8, +9 in some surveys
[ In Reply To ..]
then do something about his problems with women, youth and Latino voters. I wouldn't look for that surge to happen in the midst of the presidential debates where voters will be expecting to hear specifics beyond "Obama sucks."

BTW, as you already know, double digits are not a prerequisite for winning elections. That 7+% he pulled off in 2008 (not to mention the electoral college TROUNCE) was more than enough to send him to the White House and McCain back to the senate chambers.

The president has got musical talent. - Trigger Happy

However, just because the president can sing, etc. doesn't mean he is doing well as president. So he can slo jam all he wants. He still isn't getting my vote come November.

Not impressed with Obama "talent" - or his policies - both stink nm

and is unwilling or unable to articulate its own policies in broad daylight is the very essence of the GOPs 2012 campaign strategy, which means the wet blanket post is saturated with substance.

If Obama thinks he can come off as cool, why should anyone care that his politics suck. The young and *** think it's the cool thing to vote for Obama. Why vote for a stiff shirt like Romney when you can vote for Mr. Cool.

Exactly. Only nonvoters like Romney plastic action figures - and Etch-A-Sketches

The voting demographic not so good.

If by pandering you mean promoting policies - serving "***" youth interests

[ In Reply To ..]
Romney almost forgot to mention, then feebly tried to co-opt, then I agree. Does your casual dismissal of the voting block that essentially handed Obama his win in 2008 as "***" also apply to all those other voters who remain beyond Romney's reach....women, blacks, Latinos, etc? Do you honestly believe white rich guys are gonna put Mittens over the top, come fall?

Bill Clinton was good at that too. It is as gift to be comfortable hanging with sll kinds of people.

On another lighter note, I have a friend in Italy who is a tour guide and he told me yesterday that he had Jimmy as a customer last week and what a great guy he is. Follow link below to see photo.
