debate was entertaining and informative, but the judgement as to who "won" should not be determined by a "performance" poll alone, but rather in combination with today's fact checking.
My favorite moment was when Ryan was defending Romney's 47% tape, saying Biden often doesn't control what comes out of his mouth. Biden laughed and said, yes but I always say what I believe and so does Romney.
Joe definitely won the debate in my book and it appears that independents think he did too.
You call that passionate? To me, he looked more like - a "special" man.

It always fascinates me that people can look at a same situation and walk away with totally different observations and opinions.
If one of my kids had behaved the way Joe Biden did last night, they would have been in their bedroom so fast it would make your head spin.
For me, anything substantive he had to say was lost in his childish, disrespectful behavior.

Or is that only okay when a Republican does it?

It IS only O.K. when a Republican does the very same thing a Democrat is torn apart for doing. Hypocrisy is one of the primary traits of many Republicans, don'tcha know!

and asked, "Did anyone decide absolutely, definitely, who you're voting for without a doubt because of what you saw tonight," Luntz asked. "None of you?
"They are not critical of Ryan, but they think Biden did well," Luntz told Hannity after the interviews. "But there is no fundamental shift like you saw a week ago. We're going to have to wait until next week's debate [Oct. 16] to see when the undecided decide."
Frank Luntz's group question and answer sessions are highly regarded as a good cross-section of voters.

Most embarrasing VP ever? - Fanatical Hypocrite

That's tough assertion you just made there. America has had a long and storied history of VP embarrassments. As I mentioned yesterday, Dick Cheney thought his friend was a bird that could fit in the palm of your hand. Also, Al Gore invented the internet, so 99% of the world's pornography and all those stupid internet memes are his fault. Dan Quayle, also confused for a bird a lot, couldn't spell potato and embarrassed Bush Sr. daily. Gerald Ford broke every bone in his body at least three times during his stay in the White House. Then he pardoned Nixon because a man that pretty never would have survived in jail. The vast majority of Americans don't even know about Mondale. Aaron Burr shot the Secretary of the Treasury. A decent number of our VPs owned slaves. John Adams went on to ban speaking ill of the government. No, trust me, VPs are always embarrassing.
The pres/VP relationship is analogous to the teenager/parent relationship. You know they are there to support you, but all they ever do is embarrass you. And they also seem a little resentful at your success.
Joe's behavior was inexcusable. What a horrible - representative to our nation.. sickening. nm

Opinions On Kids And MedsSep 05, 2012What is your opinion on kids on medications to keep them calm? Especially boys. Boys are boys, and they all inherently have "ADHD" until they're about 16. <g> I think it's a matter of discipline, not drugs.
Also, it just kills me that kids who have behavioral problems and who are in chaotic home environments, are drugged and therapied to death, then stuck in the same horrible nutty home environment. Drug the kid, ship the kid to therapy, but keep the ...
Weight Loss MedsOct 04, 2014In the last 18 years, I've gained 45 pounds. I've taken phentermine twice (purchased on line), which worked very well. I also did the Atkins diet which worked well. I tried Curves for six months but only lost five pounds. Can anybody recommend an OTC appetite supressant that's been successful for you? I hate the side effects of phentermine (horrible insomnia and dry mouth) and can't get a doctor to prescribe it for me anyway. I do realize fewer calories and exercise result in ...
Bad At Math, Worse At Remembering Meds, NowApr 21, 2015About 2 years ago had cataract surgery, recently returned to have Yag laser because occasionally a film will deposit on the capsule after the first surgery. I thought hooray, the drops are gone. Not so fast now. I have now been told (because of corneal dystrophy) to take 2 different drops every day from here on. I had trouble remembering 3x a day and now this is the issue: First of all, unlike capsules cannot put the drops into a Monday, Tuesday, day of the week container.
I have one drop I ...
