The quotes taken out of context and the character attacks are all they've got. LOL. It's deju vu all over again and again and again. LOL.

Can't win on the issues, and the character attacks over the last several decades have been old and tiresome for quite awhile now.

Marxist direction, but I frankly never in my wildest dreams expected to see the country devolve into such an ugly, vomitus freak-show (as evidenced by many posts here, a reflection of the country I fear).

The country is no longer interested in tax paying Americans. For nearly 7 years it has been shown few politicians even care. The country is now rules by racial grievance, the FSA, and illegal aliens. I am not optimistic.

True Statement: "And people will choose to vote for her if she is on the ballot in 2016." - sm

I will indeed choose to vote for her if she is the Democratic nominee on my ballot in 2016.

I'm guilty as charged.

I love my country where the majority are allowed to choose their own leaders. :)

Always had irresponsible citizens who will vote for - "their party's candidate" no matter

[ In Reply To ..]
Wouldn't matter if it was Al Capone or a corrupt old crone. Applies to ALL parties.

Cuts both ways - sm

Always had "corrupt old crones" calling the other party's voters names like "irresponsible citizens" for merely supporting their party's platform, which isn't an issue of character in any regard whatsoever. The "Geriatric Odd Party" is a group of old crones who want everybody to ignore party platform because their party can't exactly agree on a platform, and their candidates keep flipping and flopping positions to become diametrically opposed even to their own earlier stated beliefs. They have been known to oppose their own legislation in order to pander to voters whims. They need this election to be about character assassination so you won't focus on their platform and their experience, or lack thereof as the case may be, depending on the candidate and which way they're flipping and flopping and pandering.

Only in America will you find the offspring of immigrants who are opposed to citizenship for immigrants even though their parents are immigrants born in other countries and some candidates born in other countries too, go figure, and some who just so happened to champion immigration reform and now want people to believe they're against it. This is the identical conundrum to Romney being against Romneycare a.k.a. Obamacare, even though we all knew better. Anyway, not sure who they think they're exactly fooling other than the easily fooled, but they're hoping you won't notice. Pay no attention to the issues whatsoever because they can't win if you focus on the issues and vote.

I didn't leave the GOP old crones; the GOP old crones left me.

What I find hysterical is when you talk to an - old codger and he recites

all of the ills with the Republican party, embraces the changes the Democrats call for, and states he always votes Republican. There really isn't anything to do with dumb. They live in a past where war was sold as necessary and fear is a daily part of their lives.

Churchill was one of the few who read his literature and paid attention to his speeches, and Churchill was ignored until it was too late.

So many of these socialists don't realize the difference between a right and a benefit. You never has a right to compel the services of another person. A right is something you are born with. A benefit is something that you have (ideally) earned.

I think we've reached the point of no return.

I recall the quote about Obama declaring - Old Puppy Max

[ In Reply To ..]
I always recall the quote about Obama declaring his intent to “transform” America.

Yet another quote taken out of context that proves absolutely nothing. - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Why do conservatives keep pounding away at the same old tired themes where quotes are taken out of context and used to somehow serve as some kind of "proof" of anything? In that speech that keeps getting twisted by conservatives to fit their "socialist" false narrative, Obama was talking about transforming the American economy.

So conservatives chop up the speech, take the phrase out of context, twist it around and build an entire narrative of their own making out of it and then keep pounding away at the false narrative and scratching their heads and wondering why the majority of the electorate doesn't quite understand their point and doesn't see Obama for what they insist that he is.

Probably because it doesn't take a rocket scientist to listen to the words in context and because they're not gullible enough to fall for the fabricated rhetoric that the right-wing fringe is out preaching as if it's gospel.

IKR, they focus in on tangential threads - not addressing major issues

[ In Reply To ..]
They constantly list an individual act as representative of a whole.

It makes for irritating debate, sort of like whirling about beating at ants instead of a major foe.

This is an interesting metaphor for the Republican party's attempt at finding a candidate in 2016. For as many of them as there are, they have individual tangents with no cohesion and otherwise run amok.

Too Smart To Run For PresidentJul 22, 2015
I have come to the conclusion that the really qualified, intellighent people are way too smart to run for president.  They know it is a puppet position.  Many of the candidates seem to be running on ego.  Look at the glint in their eyes as they make their first announcement before the cameras that they are running for:  "President of the United States."  Yessiree!  Now, we need to check out all the candidates and see what non profit organizations they head up, becau ...

Let me get this straight......we're trying to pass a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, To be signed by a president that also hasn't read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. According To Smart Money Magazine, Here Is What Corporations Are DoingMar 12, 2011
"Yes, companies have boosted profits—to near-record levels—by slashing costs." That's also what I have been seeing. The companies are making more money than ever before, taking advantage of those tax breaks, but they are pleasing stockholders by cutting costs (and people) in order to do it. That's very good business for them, but not so much for Americans who need to work. This is not a political comment, because it has been happening under both administrations.   ...

Smart People Knew This Would Happen But Others Weren't Thinking Apr 12, 2013
It's so funny all the protests going on about border security. Illegal immigrants think the borders should be open to all (which would include terrorists). They protested against Marco Rubio yet when asked, didn't know who he was or what he represented in immigration reform. He is a Republican, that's all they knew and were told by SEIU and AFL-CIO. If they want to be citizens of this country, they have to learn about the government and pass tests regarding how our country works. ...
