George W. Bush strategist Karl Rove, who helps run American Crossroads, the well-funded GOP super PAC, is planning to speak at the retreat, said the fundraiser, who was not authorized to publicly discuss the event and spoke on the condition of anonymity. Rove’s appearance could raise questions because of laws barring any coordination between super PACs and campaigns.

No Rove fan here, but he has as much right to speak at whatever he wants to speak at. Don't believe there is any rule against that.

Besides both candidates do things they shouldn't be doing.

Besides, how can KR be a Bush strategist when Bush is no longer running. Right now KR is just a loser speaking at anything he wants to speak. Nothing he can say will ever make me want to listen to him. Just saying there is no rules I am aware of that he cannot speak.

Romney is smart enough to know that if there is something he shouldn't be doing he won't. He's not breaking any rules. He's following all the guidelines that pertain to him.

I'd be more worried about who is supporting and speaking for the other side. Ayers? Soros? Now that's who would worry me.

Presidential front-runner Mitt Romney knows that he can’t talk to the people who run the notorious “super PAC” that may have won the Iowa caucuses for him.

“It's illegal, as you probably know. I'm not allowed to communicate with a super PAC in any way, shape or form,” he said in December on MSNBC’s Morning Joe show. “My goodness, if we coordinate in any way whatsoever, we go to the Big House.”

It was a newsworthy story to know what kind of people a presidential candidate hung out with. Just like you want to know all the dirt on Mittens people want to know about the O. I guess if you think the innocent lives loss is ridiculous then don't know what to say.

I once was on a community committee with someone who turned out to be a major-league embezzler. Doesn't make ME a thief. You pretty much have to spend your life hiding under your bed not to cross paths with bad people somewhere along the line. I sure wouldn't hold it against anyone.
