Does this freak anyone else out? I'm pretty open-minded about change, but patenting genes?

in the past 4 years. Most inventors are going to have a very hard time keeping their product rights from being infringed upon and companies like Monsanto and big pharma companies have even a better chance of blocking access to other drugs that may be used for the same disease...if just one chemical in big pharma's drug, they may be able to bring suit for patent infringement. That's one of the reasons my attorney client gave up.

Guess Hagel decided it wasn't worth the effort to try to fight the House vote.
