Another example of Trump draining the swamp
Posted: May 26, 2017
First administration to do this.
;
Nice to see you back O and BO - Thanks for making my day
[ In Reply To ..]
With a Trump bash. I thought maybe you were on vacation. Oh well. LOL.
Actually, I was - OABO
[ In Reply To ..]
but mostly just getting more burned out with Trump supporters calling every criticism "Trump bashing" and not discussing the issues.
The "issues" I see are made up by MSM - and that is Trump bashing.
[ In Reply To ..]
Someone is sick and they are anticipating healthcare cuts so they are getting sicker and blaming Republicans for their illness. What's to discuss? The healthcare is not finalized. They want to worry and blame, and where does that get them? Maybe I should just say, you are right, Republicans are making you ill. But I think the hatred inspired by MSM reporting and posts here are firing up poster's ulcers.
Just because you choose to bury your head...sm - VTMT
[ In Reply To ..]
in the sand does not make real issues and concerns disappear. The MSM reports Trump in audio and video, his own words and actions.
What exactly did Trump say specifically about - healthcare and environment bills
[ In Reply To ..]
My head is not in the sand. I just refuse to comment on conjecture or MSM spin.
Google Trump on healthcare, environment, jobs, etc. - nm
[ In Reply To ..]
.
I asked specifically what Trump actually said - do you know?
[ In Reply To ..]
I am not going to google. I have other things to do. You claim Trump said ? and you prove it with your google finds.
Not the one that you are responding to but - google it yourself
[ In Reply To ..]
Apparently you have time to argue with someone but no time to look something up. He stood right up there with the House members and said the plan was great. If you can find something where he didn't say that then post it.
Not my argument. If it was I would offer proof - Simple as that.
[ In Reply To ..]
Make a claim, back it up.
Not mine either. I know what he said, it is - apparently you that doesn't
[ In Reply To ..]
You won't find something where he didn't say that so you choose to turn it around on everyone who knows he said it.
You can either continue to argue that he didn't say it or you can prove he didn't. That's up to you.
Anyone with half a brain knows - you can't prove a negative.
[ In Reply To ..]
But then I guess half a brain and lack of logic is a given when dealing with liberals.
By the way, I did not "argue that he didn't say it" - I have no idea of what Trump says or does not say as I do not follow him as closely as the bashers do.
Maybe you should follow him more and then - you might learn why
[ In Reply To ..]
people don't like him as president instead of criticizing those who don't.
Not the poster you are responding to but - some people have a life outside politics
[ In Reply To ..]
I for one would never argue politics because I have no time to watch media and I have no idea what media source is without an agenda or is truthful. Talking heads is all I see on news.
What are you talking about? Issues like - healthcare, the Russian
[ In Reply To ..]
investigation, his policies gutting the environment are not trivial and most definitely not made up. No, healthcare is not finalized and no where near being finalized but it doesn't mean we can't discuss what is real and that is that the House passed a disaster of a healthcare plan. We will see what the Senate comes up with and after the backlash over the House version, I am seeing many of the republicans finally getting that they cannot go with something that takes insurance away from so many people. I am hopeful that they will come up with something much better than that version. We will wait and see but it doesn't mean it can't be discussed. I am sure many republicans who come on this board would be hurt by that House version and it is not unrepublican to admit it is not good.
The Russian investigation goes on. - So far NOTHING!
[ In Reply To ..]
What is reality is everything here is conjecture and what-if or maybe being discussed. When the truth comes out, I will discuss it. Otherwise I consider most of what is discussed here smoke and mirrors by disgruntled liberal posters who buy into MSM reporting that is spun out of context in a downright effort to mislead because Trump upset the corrupt political system and all of the MSM bright and shiny reports Hillary was the winner of the presidency based on polls was bogus
If anyone's head is in the sand, it is the people who want to believe the MSM without question and post imaginary things happening without full understanding of the ins and outs of bills and proposals.
The truth is there is an investigation and we - don't know what they
[ In Reply To ..]
will or will not find. Just because you have not heard anything doesn't mean there is nothing and it doesn't mean there is something.
I have never been convinced one way or the other by "MSM." They report the news. I have not heard them say Trump is guilty or anybody else. They are merely reporting what is going on.
You are making a judgment based on something you do not know. You don't know if there was collusion or not. You are calling the kettle black.
I'm really not sure what "imaginary" things you are talking about.
I am FULLY AWARE there has been an ongoing - investigation and said so.
[ In Reply To ..]
I am also FULLY AWARE there has been nothing found so far. I have never made a judgement about the Russian investigation.
Get off the high horse before you fall.
Why don't you get off yours? I didn't - make a judgment either
[ In Reply To ..]
nm
The CBO - old and burned out
[ In Reply To ..]
is not the mainstream media and they have concluded that the plan that the House passed will throw 23 million people off health care. It also allows insurance companies to charge seniors 5x more than younger persons - up from 3x on the ACA. Is all this OK with you or will you just call it Trump bashing?
I call it conjecture and the healthcare bill - is not final. I do not worry
[ In Reply To ..]
about this until it is final and then I will switch my allegiance to another candidate when it comes to voting in 2020. I am not unwilling to switch to another candidate or party if Trump screws the people who voted for him over. Until it is final, I got nothing to discuss. It is a waste of time as far as I am concerned.
Then why come to a political board if we - can't discuss politics?
[ In Reply To ..]
I think what the House came up with was a disaster. I think many republicans think it is a disaster. Do we know what the Senate will come up with? No. It doesn't mean we can't discuss it.
No one is telling you to stop your allegiance to Trump but it doesn't mean we can't discuss our feelings about him. When an issue is brought up about him, then defend that issue. Don't come on here calling the left names (not you literally). I'm just saying if you think what he did on an issue is good, then explain why you think it is good. I should also be able to discuss why I think it is bad without being called a name (and that goes for both sides of the aisle).
If you don't want me to call Trump a name (which I don't), then don't call Obama names.
You can discuss what you think may happen - but I am not psychic like lefties
[ In Reply To ..]
I can only say from what I read here some people discuss things that are obviously over their heads and some things that are not final. I prefer to discuss things in the final state than what CBO says may happen. For what it is worth many of my friends find Obamacare a disaster but it is their financial REALITY and not a what-if situation CBO projects.
I kind of liked Obama with his charm and swagger and never called him names. You must have me confused with another poster from another time.
I don't have you confused with anybody - If you read my post
[ In Reply To ..]
you would have understood that. I guess it is true that some things are obviously over some people's heads.
If someone such as yourself doesn't want to discuss an issue then they don't have to, but to just respond with name-calling is not a discussion.
I read your post. I will quote the last - sentence for you.
[ In Reply To ..]
"If you don't want me to call Trump a name (which I don't), then don't call Obama names."
You said I called Obama names, I said I did not and liked Obama's charm and swagger.
Are you confused?
No I didn't. You used "sound bites" - I made myself perfectly
[ In Reply To ..]
clear through the post that I was not directing it to you personally so I think you are the one confused or maybe "spinning."
Must have been a very short vacation - a record 12 hours

Draining The Swamp Is MessyJun 09, 2017Our home is in a community of 2,000 homes located on the intracoastal waterway in North Carolina. Everything lives here. Alligators. Water moccasins. Rattle snakes Sea hawks. Egrets. Giant blue heron. Mosquitoes… blood sucking mosquitoes. We’ve watched from our back porch as dolphins chased sail boats and motor boats up the intracoastal and watched the moon rise over the ocean to cast its glow over the intracoastal.

The SwampNov 12, 2016Donald Trump said that he was going to drain the swamp. He never said that he was going to kick everybody out of DC. He has said that he is going to use some outsiders and some insiders in his transition and moving forward. It makes perfect sense to me. I want to give him a chance before I pass judgment on him. We have to come together as a country. That's the bottom line. ...

The Wild And Free Pigs Of The Okefenokee Swamp.Oct 23, 2015trapper from North Dakota hitched up some horses to his Studebaker wagon, packed a few possessions--especially his traps--and drove south. Several weeks later he stopped in a small town just north of the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia. It was a Saturday morning--a lazy day--when he walked into the general store. Sitting around the pot-bellied stove were seven or eight of the town's local citizens. The traveler spoke, "Gentlemen, could you direct me to the Okefenokee Swamp?" Some of the oldtime ...
Finally, One Of The Chief Swamp Creatures Fired! May 11, 2017land mines Obama had left for President Trump. Former FBI Director Comey appears to have become unstable in his position, as he began to usurp more and more power for himself; even to the point of making decisions for Obama AG Lorretta Lynch. Most recently, he seemed to be attempting to even commandeer the power of the United States presidency. President Trump promised to drain the D.C. swamp and one of its chief creatures has now been given his walking papers.

TRUMPAug 03, 2016All I have seen is Hillary bashing on this site. Has anyone mentioned how brash, rude, and just plain disgraceful Trump is acting during his speeches? How he made fun of a disabled person, how he is planning on attacking China?, how he told a woman to remove her crying child from the room during one of his "speeches"? Do any of you realize he has no idea how to be diplomatic? Do you realize what will happen to the USA if he ticks off China and starts another war, especially with this superpower ...

TRUMP ALL THE WAYMar 03, 2016I am so sick of how this election is going. What Trump Should Do...Feb 16, 2016I'd make up life-size cardboard Bushes - Ma, Pa and Bro. Ma would be holding a sign saying "Down with Donald!" Pa would be holding his nose. Bro would be thumbs-down with a scowl.
I'd prop them in a hay wagon and wheel it onto the stage in the middle of Trump's speech. At that point, Donald would look around, take a long look, turn to the mic and say, "We just can't get rid of 'em, can we?....They're everywhere."

One of two things would probably happen:
1. Pollsters fall for it and get the election wildly wrong.
