is the only answer AGAIN. How do you tell if someone is mentally ill or ready to shoot up a place? You can't unless you force gun buyers to go through psychological or psychiatry testing before they buy a gun and that still won't solve the problem. Criminals will still have guns a/k/a thieves, drug cartel, anarchists, and any other person who wants something for nothing or wants to create havoc or just plain destruction.
Average Joe won't keep shooting people - though

now blame the gun instead of the system that was supposed to prevent crazy people from getting guns but failed.

You won't hear the real reason for this attack on CNN or any of the other liberal controlled media because is just doesn't fit their agenda. Same for our idiot in chief in the WH. Or should I say racist in chief?
Have pity on the murderer. After all, everyone was against him - Truthhurts

because he was black and LGBT. Everyone hated him. That's why he filed lawsuits against the places he worked after he got fired.
Yeah, right. He was no more mentally ill than Obama. He was an out and out racist. Period and just hiding behind the Charleston and Ferguson episodes.
He only bought the gun 2 days before using it. That shows he planned on doing this. He wrote that 23-page manifesto to ABC. You can't type 23 pages in a matter of minutes and send it off while keeping your thoughts in line.
Most mentally ill people don't really plan anything. They're impulsive. Face it. The guy was a racist and couldn't hold a job in journalism but instead of doing something about it by finding out why and changing, he decided to blame it on someone else and kill someone.
LIke the station manager stated, he stuck around for TWO YEARS after he was fired. Most reporters move on to other places as a reporter. They don't stick around in a place where they can't get a job in that field.
He also rented an escape car. That takes planning. - NM
Well, obviously he planned this, he didn't happen - upon them at 6:45 in the a.m.

No one is talking about temporary insanity. He was mentally disturbed, probably for a long time before he ever met any of these people.
Amen! He also had a history of filing lawsuits - when he didn't get his way.

The narrative has already begun about more gun control and background checks, the usual political memes.
I heard he bought the gun 4 days after Charleston - murders--

and if you read/listen to them read the parts of the manifesto, he was a very disturbed person. I guess if you think he accusing people of discriminating against him is racist, then I guess he was racist too, but I think more than that he was off his rocker. He had all sorts of costumes in his car. And wrote out that he was so sorry for hurting anyone and then the next page ranting and raving. He was nuts!
I was responding to what was INSIDE the post. - Olga, the conservative.

I think he was all kinds of crazy and this probably was not limited to just race. It seems like the church shootings were just the catalyst that set him off, but it probably could have been anything as he was definitely not stable.
