Anyone out there every use Acupuncture for pain.  I have hand pain, back pain, neck pain, rib pain, hip pain, knee pain, foot pain, elbow pain, shoulder pain, wrist pain, facial pain and I am tired of all the meds.  Can not take anti-inflammatories due to numerus GI issues.  I live in Maryland.  If anyone has had good luck with acupuncture and knows someone good, give me a heads up.  I am willing to try anything to feel even a little better every day!  Thanks

You need to find a doc and/or massage therapist that knows about trigger points and myofascial pain. It is very common in jobs like transcription. Google Devlin Starlanyl - she is an author that specializes in this kind of pain. This may not be your problem, but it would not hurt to check it out. I have tried acupuncture in the past but it is too expensive right now for me.

Worked for me! - oaf

I love acupuncture. It has helped me on quite a few occasions. The cost is the only limiting factor!!! Good Luck. It helped my sinusitis, CTS and helped get me through chemo and radiation therapy... Look for a good one. The best I ever had was trained in the Orient.
