Thinking of joining. Tried WW but got bored and it started to cost too much. Anyone had any luck with TOPS. I need to lose 40 and they just seem to sit there.... Any opinion would be great.

In the past I was "overly healthy". I tried to lose weight and all it did was center my concentration on food. The end result...gained weight. I finally decided I am what I am. My high weight at age 24 was 167. My weight at age 40 is 132 to 135. I am 5' 8". I no longer try to lose weight because it really didn't work for me. My method is simple: If I want the M&M's, I eat the small single bag of M&M's. I don't wait for the craving to get so big that I end up at the Walmart to buy the 2 lb bag with 33-1/3% more for free. Just my experience and, of course, wish you the best of luck. If nothing else, hopefully this made you smile a bit.

First ... you are at perimenopause or menopause. If so, that's going to have a very direct impact on your ability to lose weight, and you'll need to change your eating pattern/choices differently.

I don't want to tie up the board with diet/exercise chatting, so if you want to delve into this more please email me. I think I can help.
