Stomach virus? Any new ones going around?

I feel horrible. Nauseated and having pretty back stomach pain. Anyone know of any viruses going around?

My husband has had the same thing for the past two days. I haven't really heard of anyone else around here having anything similar. Feel better soon.

Thank you. I was freaking a little but now at least I know someone else had the exact thing. I just feel horrible and need to be working.Ugh. Hope you don't catch it and your husband's over it now.

Yes...it is certainly going around in my area - ..everyone is sick!

I had it about 2 weeks ago, several neighbors & coworkers have it now. Doctor's office said they are seeing a lot of patients with stomach bug symptoms. Feel better soon!

About 2 weeks ago, my 9-year-old came home from school and said she had a stomachache. She ended up throwing up almost every hour between 4 p.m. and midnight that day. A couple of days later, I fought nausea all night long, couldn't sleep, finally got sick the next morning, and felt crappy all the next day. A couple of days after that, my husband got it, and a couple of days after that my older son.

Came on like gangbusters, out of the blue and very rapidly. Extreme nausea, followed by repeated emesis and the other, um, expected GI symptoms, which then lasted for a good 24 hours, accompanied by fevers and chills, with some joint and muscle aches, as well. The GI symptoms abated first, with the fever and weakness remaining another 24 hours. I'd say probably some Norwalk virus variant. Nasty, and glad to be over it.

On Saturday night, my boyfriend and I went to a friend's house for a pre-Thanksgiving gathering.
