Mind you I am a great breast feeding advocate. My first child 4 years, second 3 years, but . . .
That's what that noise was in the dead space in the dictation---a double pumper breast pump!
I have heard them slurping and carrying on during the dictations and that brings back fond memories. The double pumper, not so much.

I am so much against any slurping or carrying - on while dictating, are you serious?
[ In Reply To ..]Fond memories? I find it offensive to have to listen to anything other than what is dictated for the medical record. I had a guy the other day who could not keep from clearing his nasal passages with loud sniffing, snorting and pulling his secretions back up into his nostrils just every few seconds. True he might have a cold but how disgusting for me to have to listen to. Do not care for music, people talking in the background, eating, smacking, and dead space to me means the dictator not aware they are costing me money, probably could care less anyway.

[ In Reply To ..]all that other noise. Most of the time it is just some carrying on getting latched and then everything goes pretty quiet. Just a twinge of fond.
