Makeup!

Posted: Apr 26, 2010

I have noticed lately, how many women you see do not wear makeup? I attended a class yesterday and there were about 25 there and noticed a lot were bare faced some very naturally pretty others that could have used a little something.

I wear foundation, blush, mascara, lipstick, eye liner and eye brow pencil.

I wear very little makeup and I always have. I wear foundation and a little blush and that's it. In the summertime I tan really fast and get really dark so in the summer I don't wear any at all. My 16-year-old daughter wears more makeup than I do. LOL. I guess I haven't really noticed one way or the other as far as other women go. I did see a man with more makeup than I wear at the mall yesterday!

I wear the same things you do, but if I didn't have to (sm) - Considering it

I wouldn't. I only wear it because I feel like I need it. But I have worn it for many years.

eye brow pencil, both in brown since I am a natural "dirty blond."

Eyeliner and brow pencil I wear 18/7, I am so used to those 2 that without them I feel "naked."

Never foundation and never blush, my face cream is Nivea, the best.

Gosh, I am a total mineral makeup addict and even sell a line in my free time. I am always wearing natural looking makeup during the day, even if I'm just staying home working, with mineral foundation, blush, neutral eyeshadow, and lip gloss. If we're going out at night, it's easy to just add to it for more impact. I just love it and it only takes 5 minutes to put it on the morning and I feel like I'm in decent shape to answer the door if somebody comes unexpectedly knocking without scaring them to death, lol!

I do the same, it goes together with showering - makeup

Not sure about the East Coast, but it seems heavier, with more under-eye liner, in Middle America. Seems to be less and lighter out on the West Coast. The only thing I MUST have is undereye concealer. That alone takes 10 years off! Never wear eyeliner (too hard to put on, the more far-sighted I get) and I only wear mascara to dress-up events. If I'm outdoors, I always wear sunglasses, so who needs mascara? I've never worn foundation. Since I actually try not to get too much sun, a touch of facial self-bronzing cream the night before, then the next day a touch of blush, pink lipstick, and I'm good to go.

Don't get me wrong, I love makeup. I have TONS of it. If we are going out on the town, I wear some, but often if I am just going to the store, or whatever, I don't wear any, or I'll put on some lip gloss and mascara. I have good skin, so I don't feel that I have to wear it.

Make up is not necessary in life - au natural

Everyone should go natural and display their true beauty. Those that feel they want to doll themselves up a little bit is fine, but there are a lot of us out there who would never look at another person and think they could use a little something.

I think no makeup is the best way to go. I read awhile back about what type of ingredients goes into makeup. Won't touch the stuff.

Thanks to OCD and this awesome face-picking fetish I've had for nearly all my life, my face is a wreck. I've eased up on the picking thing now that my life isn't a total mess, but the scars are there, along with the discoloration, and so if I'm going out, I wear makeup. If company suddenly shows up and I'm "naked," I run in the bathroom and slap some on. Selfish yes, petty, you betcha, but there it is.

It's the first thing people see--and when a few people have seen me without makeup, they asked me if I was sick. If they only knew...

I was wondering if any has used the Luminess Airbrush makeup or any airbrush system!! I was thinking about buying one but not sure as I have dry skin and also brown spots on my face.  Does anyone know if this product works and/or if it lasts, easy to learn to use, etc.  Any information would be greatly appreciated!  ...

What Are Some Of Your Favorite Hair/skin/makeup Products?Mar 20, 2012
Right now I am really loving Renpure's hair products.  I've been using their shampoo and conditioner (and have gotten 3 compliments on the health of my hair), but only just recently tried their Argan oil treatment.  LOVE. As far as daily defrizzer:  I've long been a fan of Paul Mitchell's (smells ever so slightly of green apple), but after many years my bottle finally ran out.  I'd seen a promo of Bumble  and Bumble's defrizz tx in Oprah ...
