I am a 51 year old woman. I take care of myself and I appreciate that my husband thinks I am attactive. What galls me are things like this: Today at my zumba class a young man came over to try to talk to me. I was doing my best to escape without much conversation, but he wants me to know that he's "into older women" and I look good for a "woman my age"...
Out having a drink with a friend, we get approached by these boys that look like we should be babysitting them and they are also were "into cougars"... I showed them my claws and they left.
This put me off. I am not fishing for compliments from young pups at all, but when did it turn into a "you look good for a ..." instead of "you're a good looking woman"?? Does it have to have that proviso attached?
