I have both Firefox and IE on my PC. I opened

my Internet browser with Firefox instead, and I can now read the MTStars boards. You can have both browsers on your PC. Just look for a download site for Firefox, and then you can have one, the other, or both open at the same time.

Firefox is actually better than IE - a little more secure, too. I find it works better for most things online, except for a couple of sites I visit that don't support Firefox. I find Firefox works better for MTStars, too. Like if you accidentally put an apostrophe in the Nickname/Alias line when you're posting, and you get that error message when you go to submit it, in Firefox, you can back up and edit it before posting. In Internet Explorer, you'll lose the post and have to start all over again.

And I agree with the poster below -Google Chrome sucks.

I refuse to use Google Chrome for a variety or reasons having to do with that stinking google toolbar that they insist on downloading with programs. I won't support Google in any other way than using their search engine which I love.

I don't want to use Firefox, although I have in the past and do agree that it is a fine browser. I have to use IE because I use Bayscribe and it only supports IE. I don't want to have to swtich back and forth so I guess I'm done with MTStars, if it really did change so that IE doesn't work.

Man, everything is a conspiracy with you people is it?

The moderator posted on the main board that there was a software update on their end that didn't go through properly. They are working to fix it.

Nothing has "changed." No one is making you download anything or pay for the site now or whatever bizarre hysterical theory you can come up with.

I will copy and past the mod's link here since no every one can see the main board and put a note on there to the mod to move to the gab board.

Quite frankly, attitudes and responses such as this are why it would not kill me to not be able to see this board any more. It's why I don't come here that often any more.

You can still use both. My company's software only - supports IE, but you can still have - sm

your MT software open with IE, and a Firefox browser open in another window at the same time, and just toggle back and forth.
