Has anyone ever played matchmaker?

My son is always saying he can't find a nice girl. He's 26, good looking with a great sense of humor. It works full-time, odd hours, every Friday and Saturday night. I know he is lonely. He has a large group of friends but he says he can't find that special someone.
Has anyone played matchmaker? How did it turn out?

I guess I was afraid of stepping on toes. I am so glad I don't have to date anymore. I didn't like it when I was young so I can understand where he's coming from.
