Kroger closed a number of their stores (Food 4 Less) in Hollywood and heavy-traffic areas AFTER the L.A. city council mandated $20 hour for all grocery clerks months ago.

I’m old enough to remember the huge oil company profits in the 1970s. We were told that they were conspiring to drive up prices and get rich.

I’m also old enough to remember the huge oil company LOSSES in the 1980s. Prices crashed, and they got hammered.

If they were really ‘colluding’ in the 1970s, why did they stop colluding in the 1980s (and no, no one ever showed they were colluding)?
